Tennis
memberships entitle family members to all club privileges except the use of
golf facilities. Dues are $73 a month, plus a quarterly food minimum of $140.
Tennis members may play golf a maximum of twelve times a year by paying guest
green fees. Dues for dual mem-berships, which entitle family members to all
club privileges, are $262 a month.
Santa
Maria Country Club offers six different types of membership for residents of
the Santa Maria area. These encompass golf, tennis, dual, social, junior, and
junior family memberships.
Golfing
memberships, which entitle family mem-bers (spouses and minor children) to all
club privileges except the use of tennis facilities and include ownership of
a proportionate share of the club’s facilities, are limited to 450 member-ships,
so new members purchase their member-ships from existing members. As membership
prices are established by market demand, the cost of the membership will vary
from time to time.
Social
memberships entitle family members to enjoy all clubhouse facilities, swimming
pool, and grounds but do not include use of golf or tennis facilities. Monthly
dues are $47, plus a quarterly food minimum of $140.
Junior
memberships are available to persons 18 to 25 years old who no longer qualify
for club privileges as minor children. Junior members pay half the regular membership
dues, as appropriate. Junior family memberships are available to persons between
the ages of 26 and 35. Junior families pay the same dues as regular members.
Santa
Maria Country Club is a private club, and membership is by invitation only.
